A: Puddleglum said they just had to be in the Giant's locker room. They smell was
unbearable
. But, it did mean they could sneak out and have a great view of the game! They were playing the Patriots.

A: Well, Dr. Cornellius had this crazy theory.
You see, according to the teachings of the ancient cenataur "Aristototelwit", if you have an "Object A" and an "Object B" that are the same size and shape with Object A being twice as heavy, and if you drop them both from the same height, then Object A will fall twice as fast as Object B.
However, Dr. Cornellius had this nutty idea that Aristototelwit was just dead wrong about this.
Cornellius
claimed that if friction and wind-resistance can be eliminated, that all objects will fall at exactly the same speed, accelerating at a rate of 32.2 feet per second.
Caspian X, of course, said this must be nonsense, because how could a great teacher like Aristototelwit be wrong. So, they decided to settle the argument once and for all. They climbed to the top of the tower and dropped a dagger and a sword at the same time to see if they fell at the same rate.
Of course, you know what happend. The sword hit the ground first. Because, you see, Narnia is not like our world. In Narnia, heavier objects really
do
fall faster than lighter objects even if friction and wind-resistance are removed.

empty

A) Flak. They caught flak. You see, they were
trying
to catch ... I don't know ... crawdads or frogs or fish or something. But then all of the sudden who shows up but "MyCrFETODA" ("Mythical Creatures For the Ethical Treatment of Dumb Animals"). These folks insist that dumb animals are no different from talking animals, and that they have feelings and rights just like their talking cousins.
Then the members of MyCrFETODA started protesting and making speeches! Oh, how they went on and on about the "cruelty" shown by the Sons of Adam and the Daughters of Eve. Trumpkin, perhaps, caught it even worse, as the other dwarves in MyCrFETODA treated him as if he were some sort of traitor to his own kind.
Of course the talking squirrles heard all the racket and come to check out the action. And you know how they are about spreading whatever gossip they get hold of. Pretty soon the whole forrest heard about it and within a few hours the Pevensies and Trumpkin were surrounded by protesters and counter-protesters, and counter-counter protesters, and critters and nymphs and such who were just shouting slogans without the slightest idea what was really going on.
Well, Peter, Edmund, Lucy, and Trumpkin had just about had enough of this. (Susan was getting a little fed up too, but you know how "Gentle" she is.) They were just putting the tighteing touches on their armor and strapping on their shields. Peter had decided to remind them just how rude it is to protest the High King in a totalitarian monarchial dictatorship. Things were about to get ugly, but then they lucked out.
Some of MyCrFETODA's dwarves decided that they really needed picket signs. So they started cutting some trees for the lumber. Well, needless to say, the dryads in MyCrFETODA had an absolute
FIT
!!! They went
ballistic
! Sure the dwarves used only non-talking trees, but that didn't matter to the dryads in MyCrFETODA! They felt that dumb trees had the same rights as talking trees.
The ensuing conflict between MyCrFETODA dryads and dwarves was truly tragic. By the time the scuffle was over, the landscape was littered with broken and blooded mythical creatures.
Lucy, of course, used her cordial to heal the wounded, but not until each promised to leave and stop making trouble. By the time all that happened, Trumpkin and the children were all hungry enough to just eat apples again. (Good thing the apple-tree dryads had left by then.)
Q) Do Venus Flytraps in Narnia have dryads, and if so, are they carnivorous?
Edit: Great answer Solo! I really liked ...

A: A black knight doesn't actually have color. His armor is just so dense that it creates a gravity well so strong that not even light can escape. His real armor is only a micron thick. The reason it looks thicker is that you are actually looking at the "event horizon".

A. Bree, like many talking horses, was under the delusion that great cat-like creatures, like their smaller relatives, are carnivorous. However, as the more enlightened realize, lions are actually herbivores and therefore the only thing Bree had to be afraid of was a herd of lions moving in and grazing on all the good grass before he got to it. Poor Bree!

A: He was sent to Oz where he met up with Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion. A. By clicking his heels together and saying "There's no place like Aslan's Country" three times. This, of course, is how one logs on to the Narninet. Then he went to lww.pricelion.nar. (Don't click on that. It doesn't work in our world.)
Then of course, he got to name his own price for a flight to Aslan's country. Reepicheep, being so small, figured he should get a discount for the flight and named a price of only "Three lions and a Tree". Surpisingly, "Air Coriakin" took his offer.
Of course, you know that "Air Coriakin" is not nearly as nice as "Air Ramandu", and one generally has to make more connecting flights. So, he had to take the "Dawn Treader" to The Lone Islands. There he caught a dragon to the island where Lord Octavian died. Then he boarded a Griffin which took him to Coriakin's Island. Then a talking buzzard took him to Ramandu's Island.
And there, he was placed into a HUGE catapult and .... FLING .... off he went to end of the world and Aslan's country.

A. Man is best enjoyed with a healthy sauce of coconuts and salad dressing, and a garnish of pickled herring. The pickled herring is the real delicacy, because it only comes in human-scale herring, not giant-scale, so they have a hard time even seeing it, let alone getting enough of it to enjoy. (Oh, the trials of being a giant's cook!)

A: Ah, my dear poppets. There is the question of the year. How did that happen?
Well, I think it happened somewhere on the road trip between Racine and LaCrosse.
There was blizzard and the next thing they knew, they were skidding on the frozen
lake outside of Cair Paravel. The rest, as they say, is history. If we can only find
the the magic whistle from Father Christmas. Mrs. Beaver said it needed cleaning
and she said she'd be right back after a bit, just after she's finished cleaning Mr.
Beaver's slicker...and stitching up the hem on the curtains in the south window...
oh, yes! And a marmalade roll. One must always have a marmalade roll on hand
for guests like...well...them.

A. It must have been terrible for the dragon. You see, he was kind of a priggish little dragon. He enjoyed insulting other dragons, but was afraid to fight them. He called himself a "pacifist" and whined whenever he didn't get his way.
The children of the lone islands referred to him as a "Baby Dragon" because, as they said, "He pouts and sulks whenever things don't happen the way he likes."
To get back at them, one day the dragon wrapped itself around the monkey bars on the local playground and refused to leave until the kids "took it back".
The children decided they'd rather climb trees and left the dragon to sulk alone. The dragon stayed there all day, and into the night. About midnight, he fell asleep.
When he woke in the morning, he found that the monkey bars seemed to have grown much larger. He was drapped over an inersection of four bars. He looked around and saw to his right, a little boy's hand. He attempted to blow a little fire on it, but no flame came out. Not even a wisp of smoke.
"It's just hard to flame when you first wake up," he reasoned, so he bent down to nip the boy's hand with his teeth.
"OUCH!!" he said jerking his head back ... and finding it didn't jerk back very far. He felt as if his own paw had just been bitten. He saw blood on the hand, and could taste it in his mouth ... but for the first time he found he didn't like the taste at all. Also, his paw still hurt.
He tried to fly off of the monkey bars and fell flat on his belly. As he tried to push him self up and saw that it was human hands that pushed against the ground, the truth finally dawned on him.
Sleeping on a child's plaything, thinking childish thoughts, the dragon had
become
a child.
Oh, he was still a pain in the neck to everyone, but now that he was one of their own species, the Lone Islanders could do something about it. They decided to send him away to military school in Archenland where he could be taught some discipline. This worked out surprisingly well. He learned the value of discipline, hard work, and courage. He learned that there are times when a person of noble heart
must
fight, and no person of noble heart ever insults or nags to get his way.
And of course, as he learned not to be such a child, the night came when Aslan appeared to him and led him to a glorious pool. There he stripped away the ugly human flesh revealed his true beautiful dragonish self once again.
But now, the dragon knew the true ways of a dragon, and flew off to find himself a nice uninhabited island where he could hunt wild boar and goats ... just as soon as he had killed and eaten the dragon currently inhabiting it. MMMM. Raw dragon meat and blood ... he could hardly wait.
Q. Why am I the only one who ever answers these questions with stories instead of little one-liners? |

Ooops. I forgot that all answers have to be WRONG.
A. Reepicheep prefered 3-D chess, especially against Vulcans. His rash and reckless manner often threw for a loop the overly-logical, pointy-eared, green-blooded creatures that he referred to as, "Very tall elves".

A. The Good Witch of the Wild North gave him a flashy, yet oh-so-mezmorizing pair of red glittery tap shoes that gave you your heart's desire. He decided to take his routine to all the taverns in Narnia and eventually (though quite quickly) he no longer needed to work his magical tap shoes due to his enormous celebrity status and fan following. His greatest desire in life was to become a king, so he thought he would try his hand at politics to see where it would lead. With his beautiful wife (Pruni as he liked to call her) by his side, he was elected governor of Lantern Waste...and the following year his dream was fulfilled when they voted him as their king. (After the shoes' magic had come full circle, he sold them to Pruni's mother who lived in the east, where a pig-tailed little girl dropped a house on her....but that information is irrelevant to the question.)
